I think this picture is probably taken in a classroom. I can infer this as there is a whiteboard at the back and also charts of different subjects pasted onto the wall. From the way the children dress, i can infer that they are the students of this school. I can also infer that this is a church school because there is a mona lisa's picture on the wall and a christian cross symbol hanged on the wall as well. There are plates of delicious food ,a birthday cake with four candles on it on the table and on the whiteboard, "happy birthday" is written, thus i can deduce that this is a birthday celebration. From the numbers of candles on the cake, i can infer that this is definitely one of the student's birthday and the birthday girl must be the girl sitting down in the foreground of the picture, who is smiling buoyantly.
I bet that this birthday girl must be feeling very delighted as there are many people celebrating her birthday with her and she will be another year older after this day. I had been such age before therefore, i can understand how joyous she is feeling at this moment. A birthday celebration is always meant to be a joyful one too. I recalled once, on my birthday, all my classmates were clapping and singing birthday song for me loudly until all the classes beside ours could heard, at that moment i felt abit awkward as that was the first time so many people celebrated my birthday for me. Despite the awkwardness, i felt touched and had an extremely awesome feeling too. I did not know that it could be so wonderful to have many people celebrating a birthday together. I bet that the birthday girl having the same feeling as what i had once felt before. In my opinion, i think that the short-haired girl standing at her right is her good friend. As compared to those children standing beside the birthday girl, she is the only one who has the most lively smile. I can infer that this girl is feeling exuberant for her good friend.
Although there are high spirited-looks from some students, there are also some who do not seem to really enjoy this birthday celebration too as they either have a sulking face or a depressed look.
Perhaps this birthday celebration is celebrated after school time and they are exhausted after attending the whole day of lessons, especially the boy at the second bottom left hand corner.
From the expression on the face, i can tell that he is in a deep thought of something and it must really be bothering him that he did not sleep well as two panda eyes can be seen on his face.
Most of the students in the picture are smiling lightheartedly, even the two teachers at the back too. I can infer that they are teachers are due to the matured looks they have and their heights. They must be feeling joyous for the birthday girl and most of the children too as they seem to have really enjoyed the birthday celebration. Being a teacher, looking at the smiles of the innocent children must which have elated them.
In my view,i think that after this picture is taken, the whole class would probably be singing and clapping loudly for the birthday girl,after that she would then be probably cutting the birthday cake and sharing the cake and the other food with her classmates and teachers.
This picture is probably taken as a memento. It depicts the importance of celebrations and gathering among friends so as to strengthen the bonds between them. Just like a family, it is essential for friends to gather and communicate in order for them to maintain a good relationship with one another. Other than our family members, friends are also a part of each and every one of our lives as sometimes we may probably feel more comfortable sharing all our good and bad times with our friends and enjoying our times with them, rather than with our family members which may be due to the ages' gaps between our family members and us.

An admirable effort to employ more sophisticated voculary, such as exuberant but be more careful with the actual usage - for example, smiling is usually not described as buoyant.
