Judging from this picture, I can tell that the four women, looking on towards the man lying on the bed, were concerned for his well being. Looking at the expressions on their faces, i can tell that they were listening intently to the man. Their visage seems as if they were absorbed by his story and their attention seems stolen.
I can see that the man has growth growing all over his face and he seems as if he has got no fingers at all. His fingers appeared as if they had transformed into an ugly and hideous looking thing thats almost unrecognisable. I think that his transformation is due to a disease that he's suffering from. There's a very high chance that he's suffering from a very rare disease because its not common to see a man walking around the city with growths on his face and huge wood-like thing attached to his wrists.
The place where this scene was going on appears to be in a hospital room. The reason for this conclusion is because of the plain looking background and the white bed where the man can be seen resting on. Plus, the man can also be seen wearing a plain sea blue shirt and pants. The attire he's wearing is most like provided by the hospital as hospitals usually provide plain clothes looking like the ones he's wearing. I think that its preety sad to be this man because he has to endure with this disease maybe throughout his whole life and existence. Still, looking at the brighter side of the situation, this man may have the popularity that will last him throughout his life, and perhaps his name is marked in the book of records.
I reckon the women dressed in white from head to toe are the nurse working in the hospital, in charge of taking good care of the sick man. They appear to be there to explain the situation of the man to the other two women who can be seen formally dressed. The other two women appears to be an important guests to the hospital.
In conclusion, this photo is well taken and the message that it tries to send can be read clearly. This photo had taught me that with every bad thing, hids a good thing. This guy in the photo may have a unique disease but this disease has given him a worldwide attention.

From the picture, i can see a family of three having an outing. from the background of a van, i can therefore guess that they might have travel a long way to reach here and that the van will most probably be their transport to here.

Also, from their expressions in their face i can tell that thay are having a great time and that they are enjoying themselves very much.Also, from the picture above, the lady at the right seems to be pregnant as i can see from the picture that her tummy is rather big and round. The man at the left seems to be her husband from the way he smiled and the girl in the middle seems to be their daughters as she put her shoulder around both the guy and the lady depicting a happy family scene.

So on the overall , i think that they are a happy family and that they are enjoying themselves.

the legacy is bigger than u think

The picture depicts a scene about people engaging in some sort of game. As there is a girl trying to throw an arrow like thing into the direction of a vase like standee, i therefore deduce that the objective of the game is to try and throw the arrow like thing into the vase like standee. The game should be quite hard as all of the vase like standee has no arrow like thing in it and that there are arrows all over the floor near the standee. This game had attracted mostly children and only a few adults thus this game is designed mainly for children. Morever, the adults are mostly standing further away from the foreground while children are standing nearer to the foreground. Also, given the look of the standee, i think that the equipment is not new but quite old as there seem to have some discolouration.
As we do not usually see this game being played in Singapore and that most people would deem this game as 'lame', thus i deduce that this game is not intended for children now but for those on the olden days where simplicity was the best. Children nowadays are too spoilt and pampered and that such mere toys would fail to entertain them.
This brings me to another topic which would be the generation gap between the young and old. The younger generation complains that the elderly are too old to keep up with the young while the elderly says that the youngsters nowadays are getting out of hands. However, i feel that the young and the old can co-exist together by letting half a step to each other. The youngsters instead of complaining about the old being slow and useless can teach them how to use the computer so as to allow them to keep up with society. The elders on the other hand can share life lessons with the youngsters as they had gone through sweet and bitter throughout their years down the road.
This picture thus give me the impression that the young and the old can live harmoniously and I'm sure this can happen in real live.

I believe that this picture is taken in a park or garden where a family is having a pinic. It can be seen by the trees around the people that are sitting on a mat that is laid on the grass. I can easily see that a family is having a pinic as they are basket around them and there are empty bottles and some food that are left over. They are probably one family with one of them married with a child as there is a little girl sat in the middle. They may have not met up for quite a long period of time so they decided to have some time for a little pinic gathering.

In the picture, there is a little girl who is wearing a cute little red dress with her hair tied up in two ponytail in the middle and she is putting her hand into her mouth. I think that she is eating some kind of food and is enjoying herself as she may still not be full thus eating when everyone is posing for the picture. She is looking at somewhere else and i think there may be some birds or small animals that has caught her attention in the park thus, not looking at the camera.

I think that the lady and man beside the girl may be her parents as the little girl is lying on the lady and children tends to be very close to their parents. The other two ladies and the man on the left hand side of the picture may be the uncles or aunt of the little girl. They are all having a smiling face and this show that they are enjoying the accompany of each other and glad that they can come together to have a pinic.

I think that after the picture, the family may be going home as there are not much food left around the mat except for some empty bottles and plates that are left behind after all the food have been eaten. And the bag that is lying on the tree seem to be quite full so i think that the people are already packing up waiting to go off. Otherwise, they may also go shopping as from the sunlight, it seem that it is still quite early and they may want to spend some time at certain shopping centre first before going home.

The picture shows that it is nice to have a family gathering once in a while so the we will know what is happening in the life of our family that do not live so close to us or seldom keep in contact. It can be a memorable day as its not everyday you can get to meet up with all your relative or family members as everyone is busy with their life working or studying. And it is also important to maintain a good relationship with your family members as we do not know what will happens next and regretting

Picture dicussion ! SAMURAI festival

This picture depicts a scene in Japan. As in the foreground, we can see people dressing in samurai costume and as samurai originated from Japan, this picture must be taken in Japan. Also we can see from the picture that this event is happening in the middle of one of the streets in Japan. There are many people surrounding the groups of Samurais , admiring them and at the same time also taking photos.

There must be some kind of Festival going on as nowadays we no longer see people wearing the samurai costume . Also , i thinks that the group of Samurai is putting on a performance. As from the picture , we can see that the samurais are doing different actions. Like the two samurais that are down on the floor and the General Samurai , the one with the Grey outfit , on a battle stance , waving his sword. I can assume that these samurais are very professional as as they are performing , there seems to be no mistake . We can see this from the crowd expression , as most of them are enjoying and focusing on the performance .

Also , from the group of samurais in the foreground , i see no female taking part in the perfromance out of the 5 samurais. Therefore , as samurais is a culture that happens very long ago in Japan , we can see that there is a already sex discrimination during then .

Next is that , from the picture of the crowd, i can see many people wearing a cap . This must be due to the hot weather during that time of the day. However , the Samurais are all fully dressed in their costume , and i think that will be very tiring for them to be performing under such intense weather.

Finally, i think that is good to hold events like this as it can refresh the people's impression of samurais and keep the unique culture remembered . Also , i wished that our country can have our own unique culture , as up to now i do not even know the culture that will represent Singapore and this has prove to be a very sad thing .

Children-seeds of hope and joy

This is a picture depicting a group of children expressing their transcendent joy by raising their small thumbs up in the air and laughing with jubilation. From their darker skin tone and complexion, they are propable african children. Judging from their common clothes and yellow ties, we can infer that they are wearing their school uniforms. The fact that some of the children have bags slinged over their shoulders even affirms the fact that they are school children more. Their schools hours has probably ended and they are on their way back home. The children seemed very playful, evident by the way they are teasing one another with friendly nudgings.

In Africa,without doubt, the country which is infested with the AIDS epidermic, rapings, kids abduction, poverty and malnutrition. As a result of the AIDS epidermic, many children are orphaned and abandoned, leaving them to fend for themselves. Relatives of these children are often stricken with poverty themselves and this prevent them from adopting children of their deceased relatives into their extended families. Hope becomes very desolate for the orphaned children in Africa. Furthermore, poverty is everywhere and children often suffered from acute malnutrition. Even when developed countries come into aid of those who are suffering fro poverty and the epidermic, money is actually devoured by huge money eating bodies which is ironically the government. As a result, most children in Africa live dark anf fearful lives, their faces void of smile.

However, in this photo, one can hardly notices the suffering and hardships they have went through as they are smiling with eyes full of merriment. Moreover, with such glee, the children looked as if they are posing for the camera in a very natural and peaceful way, expressing their gratitude for being able to attend school and attain the gift of life-education. Education is the driving tool in life to be able to think practically and succeed in life. I am certain that education is like a new lease of life for the children and after attaining the sweet fruits of knowledge, i hope they will be able to use it to improve the lives of their fellow countrymen and give them a new lease of life as well. Moreover , the children do have a thirst for knowledge, prominant by the fact that in the background, it is a forested area and they probably have to hike throught it day after day in order to go to school.

In deeper detail, we are able to notice that some children like the boy raising his thumb high up in the air at the central focus of the photo is wearing a sandy colour shirt instead of his school uniform, probably as a result of his parents being unable to afford his school uniform and also in the midst of the children's happiness, it depicts traces of poverty.
With their thin frames standing under the scorching sun, we are able to notice that their stomachs lack nourishment which is contrasting to the fact that many people around the world are obese. Thus, by this, we can conclude that the statement made by some people that there is not enough food in the world is totally questionable.

In conclusion, this picture is very well-taken as the innocence and transcendent joy of these ill-fated children are beautifully captured under the lens of the camera.

Picture Discussion

This picture delineates a scene in the foreground whereby a group of four people, specifically two middle-aged women and two younger ones, are posing for the camera. They are at a theme park and I postulate that it is a Walt Disney theme park, or what most of us address as Disneyland. I have made that inference because I have noticed the magnificent and grandiose 'castles ', which is a feature of Disney theme parks. Furthermore, there is a myriad of other buildings which seem to be part of the park itself. For example, the statues of various Walt Disney characters have been erected, as seen by the blue, white and brown figures in the background of the photograph. My stand is also supported by the fact that I have been to one of these theme parks with my family before. As such, as most Disney fun parks are easily recognisable by their superior and circean architectural designs, and the ones featured in this photograph are largely similar, I can deduce that.

Next, based on the four ladies' dress code, I can surmise that they are at the theme park for a fest, probably a Disney Fest. This is because all of them are not wearing elaborate and ostentatious outfits but have donned on simple and casual clothes, which are more comfortable and will not trap much heat either, allowing for greater enjoyment throughout their time spent there. One of the older ladies is also holding on to a large straw hat so that it can help block out the intense rays of the sun. She also has a waistpouch on her and I assume thast she uses it to store valuables or some other personal items.

From the photograph, I can guess that they are seated on a specially designed pew, due to the presence of pulchritudinous flowers, which closely resemble peonies, enclosed within a circular patch of mother earth, in which the unique comb of seats surround. At the centre of the photograph, there is an architectural sculpturesque of a smartly clad man holding the hands of the Walt Disney company's icon, Mickey Mouse, which is a comic animal cartoon character. The sculpturesque is also standing exactly at the centre of the bed of flowers. In my opinion, the man in the sculpturesque is Walt Disney. Therefore, I guess that the four ladies had this photograph taken at one of the entrances of the theme park, so that the public are aware of the founder of this famous media and entertainment corporation.

Next, the four ladies appear to be family members, or at the very least, close friends. This can be greatly extrapolated from the fact that they are seated so close to each other. In addition, the youngest of the quadruplet can also be seen seated on the laps of one of the middle-aged women, presumably the girl's mother. As such, these points further reinforce my illation that they are bound by family ties. Also, if we were to examine the picture in greater detail, we would realise that all four of them do possess a resemblance to each other.

By observing the little girl, I do notice that she has a baggage strapped to her waist and it seems to me that she has just purchased it from the emporium within the premises. This is because it appears rather new and its colours do not seem washed out. Also, I do not think that it was given as a gift by the managememt to every kid who attends the show or something. Otherwise, costs would be high and there will also be lesser profit earned. Next, she is also wearing a pair of cool and sleek sunglasses, or rather, a pair of shades. Again, I think that this was bought at one of the outlet there. From the girl's blithe expression, I can gather that she is feeling utmost fortunate, felicitous or even euphoric. From the way her hands are placed, I can presume that she has let her hair down and is really enjoying herself. School life can be really exhausting at times, so I suppose that she is really cherishing the opportunity that she has now to make merry, and relish all the fun she can get with gusto,which is simply a joie de vivre for her.

In my opinion, this could be one of the most pleasurable and sybaritic days of her life because she was given a chance to carpe diem. Furthermore, it is not every day that we get to spend quality time with our family members as and when we like. As such, from the appearance of the little girl, I can say that she could be feeling appreciative of the fortuity to share family time with her closest of kin. In certain undeveloped countries, some babies are even sold to other wealthier families who do not have children so that money could be raised to support their current family, and with that, the child is risked being sold as sex slaves, labourers and so on in the future. Others, some as soon as they are born, are being abandoned by their mothers and left to fend for themselves in the cold and lonely world, all due to reasons such as poverty. Therefore, I suppose the little girl in the picture is gladsome because she knows that she is blessed with a caring family which many people all over the world live without.

Perhaps after the picture is taken, the group of ladies would continue touring the theme park because from the photograph, it still seems quite a long way to night. As such, this gives them the time to bond and enhance their relationships to an even greater extent.

Basically, I think that this is indeed a blue-ribbon photograph which portrays important family ties. The family has always been the most important element in maintaining a society. The family is the cradle of our growth and without the membership of a family, we cannot grow in wisdom and maturity. A growing child needs the support of the family. The family is the place where we get security, true acceptance and understanding. We cannot deny the importance of love in the family. The family provides the linguistic and cultural environment for children-a function that cannot be adequately performed by outside agencies. The family has firm foundations. It is not a household created to serve certain purposes. It is a social organism and it is held together not only by bloodline and traditions but also by love and responsibility. It is a dynamic social institution that is necessary for the survival of our economic and political systems. As such, the family may undergo changes, but it will remain as the core unit of society.

This picture is most probably taken in other countries after a natural disaster. i can infer this as the buildings in singapore are mainly consists of high rise buildings in order to save space for other uses in future and the building in the picture is a smaller building. Other than the buildings, i can conclude it is taken overseas as we have very few mountainous area in singapore and a steep mountain can be seen at the back of the picture. a earthquake might have occur before it is taken as the buildings have collapsed and the broken pieces are everywhere.

there are people wearing of the same uniform and a woman in the picture. From the attire that they are wearing, i believe they from the military and they might be volunteering themselves as searchers in search of the missing people. they came in group to help out in the crisis. they are rescuing the victims while trying to spot for any other victims trapped beneath the pile of fallen structure. Most of them might be trying to lift up the fallen piece carefully while the others are by the side watching if they need help. From the picture, they are surrounding a victim and one of them can be seen that he is using force to lift the piece up. He can be seen using alot of strength from the position he is in. He bends down with his leg widely apart to pull the piece of fallen pieces.

The searchers might have set out a long time ago to rescue victims. This can be seen as their attire is dirtied from the mess. Judging from their expressions, i think they are determined to help out and feel disheartened at the same time.

From the picture, i think the natural disaster have a huge impact on that area as the buildings have collapsed and a lot of damage is done. The people living there seemsto be one of the victims or homeless by then. While the searchers are attending to the victim, the victim seems to be seriously injured. He might be dead as he do not seem to be responding. The woman next to them might be related closely to the victim. The woman is crying in sorrow and she could have be the victim s wife and she is using her hand to wipe off her tears. From the expression on her face, she seems to be deeply affected and is feeling crestfallen and this is probably because her husband is in a serious condition. The victim might be one of those who is later rescued as he is in a serious condition and no ther victims can be seen around the area.

This picture shows a scene at a playground. I assume that this is a playground as there are many facilities such as the slide and monkey bars and that there are many children playing there.It is also very spacious for children to run about. Hence, I can conclude that this picture is taken in a playground. In the foreground, there is a little boy around the age of five with dark colored long sleeve shirt sliding down the slide with his arms outstretched. From his facial espression, he seems to be having a lot of fun playing the slide as he is laughing happily away. Instead of sliding in a safe way, the boy is sliding facing downwards. I think that he should not be sliding in such a dangerous way as he could get hurt easily. Not only that, i think that his parents should accompany and stay beside him as it is very dangerous to play alone in such an unsafe way.

At the top of the slide, there is another toddler with her mother behind her sliding down same way as the little boy. Fortunately, her mother is playing the slide with her, which is safer. However, I still feel that such a way of sliding is not recommanded as anything could happen if they chose to play in such a precarious way. i also think that they should slide down a while later until the little boy in front of them has left the slide. This is so as to prevent them from colliding into each other.

The weather seems to be cool and sunny as it is usually during such nice weather that many people would chose to go out. This picture is probably taken from somewhere in a cold foreign country as the people in the picture are all wearing long sleeved shirt. It is not a very common sight to see people wearing long sleeved shirts in Singapore as the weather here is very hot.

In conclusion, i feel that parents should watch over their children at what they are doing. Parents should also guide their children and correct them if what they are wrong.

This picture is probably taken from the scene of a place after a disaster. There are dead bodies on the floor probably waiting for their family members to retrieve the bodies. As the situation of a disaster is very chaotic, it will take some time for the family members to find the bodies of their relatives.
In the center of a picture, a woman is kneeling on the floor in between two of the dead bodies. Most likely, one of the bodies beside her should belong to her family members. With both hands on her head, it can be clearly seen that she is very heart broken and depressed. The feeling of the woman can be easily understood as losing a kin suddenly is very hard to accept.Although the woman is lucky enough to survive the disaster, but her kin is not so lucky to survive the disaster.
This picture tells me the the natural disaster not only harmed people in a physical way, lke destroying infrastructure, lives, it also harmed people in a mentally way. Some people will be always living in the darkness and aftershocks of the earthquake. Some poeple lose their kin and this incident will leave a scar in them and it will take a long time for them to recover from their sorrowful emotions.

This picture shows the setting of the living room of a house. There are four formally dressed grown-ups in this picture, two of them are seated on the sofa which is placed against one side of the walls in the living room, while the other two are standing in front of them.

The lady who is standing next to the gentleman is wearing a floor-length, white-colored gown and has a sash pinned on her head. The gentleman standing beside the lady is wearing a black suit, and from his skin color, he is probably a Caucasian. From the way the two of them are dressed, I can infer that they are a couple, and this picture is taken on their wedding day. From the face expression of the bride, I can tell that she is feeling exuberant, maybe because she feels that her dream of being with her true love has finally came. The bridegroom is closing his eyes while serving the lady who is seating on the sofa a cup of tea. The act of him closing his eyes shows that he respects the lady seated.

The serving of tea on the wedding day is a part of the Chinese traditional wedding custom which starts many years ago, which involves the serving of tea from the newly weds to their parents. This custom is said to bring harmony between the parents of both sides and the couple.

On the other side of the picture, the lady who is receiving the cup of tea from the hands of the bridegroom, is dressed in a formal red shirt with traditional symbols printed on it. From the face of the lady, I can infer that she is not as young as the bride, she is probably the parent of the bride. From her face expression, I can also tell that she is delightful that the bride and bridegroom can finally be married to each other. The other man who is seated beside her is holding on to a cup. Maybe he has already received his, and now it is the lady’s turn to receive hers. The four people in this picture look elated on this auspicious day.

As this picture has suggest, a mix of two culture wedding is being held on that day. The bride and bridegroom are dressed in the clothing of a western wedding, yet are performing one part of the Chinese traditional wedding custom. This picture is not only taken for a memorable moment, but also shows the harmony and unity between two different cultures.

From this picture, I believe that it was taken from a runway during a fashion showcase. I can infer from this because the lady at the front, whom I presume is a model, is donning a piece of stylish suit - all dressed up and looking fabulous. Also, I can infer that she's a professional from her posture and the way she walks. The model is standing up straight and by looking at the way she carries her handbag and the movement of her feet in a straight line, I believe that she is doing her task without any difficulties. While carrying a serious and proud expression on her face, I can tell that she's concentrating while strutting down the runway. Just right behind her, another model clad in black suit is making her way to the backstage after she has finished her walk.
In the background, I can see many audiences, and most of them are females. Other than that, there are many who have their writing materials. From their expressions, I can tell that they are observing the models carefully while they are walking down the runway. While observing, some are penning down notes on their paper. In my opinion, I think they are journalists or critics who work in the fashion industry. The fashion show may be published in an article or a magazine.

In my opinion, I think this picture depicts how important fashion is regarded in the eyes of the world. Not only the ladies are fashion-conscious, even the men are nowadays because the way one dresses up defines its place in this stereotyped society. To add to that, this also links to another important issue : anorexia and eating disorders. This problem is mostly faced by the girls with the burning desire to look good like the models on the runway, who have perfect figures. Celebrities have huge influences on the youths of today and some of them are actually anorexic - for example: Paris Hilton and Ashlee Simpson. Fortunately, Tyra Banks thinks otherwise. The Tyra Banks Show, which attracts millions of viewers, tackles with serious eating disorders. Tyra herself is an anti-anorexic and has made a stand about anti-smoking and eating disorders.

Picture Discussion

This picture has a setting of a roadside, where two men can be seen splashing water from a bucket and a container onto a passerby dressed in a swimming suit riding on a motorcycle. From this picture, I can deduce that this may be the famous water festival in other countries as the person on the motorcycle seemed to be prepared. This can be proven by what she is wearing, which is the female type of swimming suit.

During this water festival, which is usually celebrated in some Southeast Asia countries, nobody is supposed to get angry regardless of how aggressive the throwing of water could get. Hence, I can see that the motorcyclist is trying her best to ignore the fact that she has been splashed wet. Moreover, I think that she would not get angry anyway, because she had physically and mentally prepared herself.

On the truck, one more person could be seen there. I guess he or she could be helping out with the splashing of water. Therefore I think that the truck is used to contain the buckets of water for the two men to throw at onto the passing motorcyclists.

However, from another perspective, I feel that this water-throwing activity should be organised in another way. As seen in this picture, water was thrown at passing motorcyclists, where it could be a threat to their lives, as this could distract them from riding their motorcycles. The water also can cause their vehicles to skid due to the fact that the floor was wet because of the water. Thus the locals should do the water-splashing part in market places or in places where there are more people and slower traffic, instead of doing it in such isolated places. In addition, there will be more crowd in market places, hence increasing the exciting atmosphere of this water festival.

This scene is hilarious in the sense that it is quite common, however weird to see people dressing up like this just for this festival. Also, this scene could never be seen in Singapore as the locals here did not celebrated this festival before. This picture could be taken to show how this festival can be celebrated in different ways. I hope that Singapore would start to celebrate this festival so that families could gather during this day and have fun splashing water about. Most importantly, people are not supposed to get angry with the throwing of water and hence, children can get a chance to throw water at adults, but only on this particular day.

Picture discussion

This picture depicts a scene at a gig, a very low key one since everyone seems to be relaxed and the musicians are performing while sitted. Infering from the band's long hair and 80's image, I believe it is a band that has been in the music industry for a very long period of time. Judging from the hair and outfits, I would guess that the band performing is Led Zeppelin. I really like how they have kept their image even though it is so called "backdated" to todays generation of music fans. From the snapping of fingers, the lead singer seems to be "feeling" the music while singing to the lyrics.

From the angle this picture was taken, I do not see any drummer and the guitarists are playing an acoustic guitar instead of an electric one so I assume that this band is performing an acoustic version of their song. According to what I know, this band has been very successful and have held many artistic achievments. Judging from the crowd, I believe that the performance was held impromptu. It must have been held in a mall and the people watching are shoppers who were there coincidentally.

I believe this picture was taken in a foreign country. London maybe? Since Led Zeppelin originated from there. The audience are wearing thick outfits and scarfs around their neck so it is definitely not in Singapore. Infering from what they have on, I believe this gig took place during winter time.

Frankly speaking, I really wish I was there to watch them. Their concert tickets are always sold at very high prices. They came to perform in Singapore once and their cheapest tickets were sold at 168 dollars and the most expensive ones were around 400.

Some places in Singapore held events to celebrate Racial Hormony Day. What is seen in this picture is an example of celebration of Racial Hormony Day with people of different races involved. Perhaps this celebration is to help to build bonds between relationship between people of different areas. the surrounding of the building seems to depict a building of a secondary school and there is a racial harmony event going on.

In the foreground, there are six people. Four of them are sitting on a trishaw, who are of different races. There are three sitting on the trishaw and one bespectacled man with a hat is cycling. The man riding seems to be an Eurasian or perhaps a Chinese as has quite tanned. They seem to be very elated as they chat along. On the trishaw, there are two ladies, one of which is a Chinese. From the type of costume that she wears, and the colour of her complexion, we can tell that she is a Chinese. There is an Indian lady sitting beside the plump chinese lady on the trishaw. The chinese lady puts her hands on the Indian lady's hand. Perhaps they are close friends. There is also one Malay man who is holding on to the railings on the trishaw. There is a smile on his face. The four people on the trishaw seems to be in high spirits, judging from the smile on their faces. Besides, there are two banners with Chinese words written on it.

There are two men standing beside them smiling away. I think is because they feel happy for the four people on the trishaw or it could be because of the joyful occasion.

The building seems to be a secondary school. From the three students in the background, they are wearing a blazer and a school badge. From their facial expression, I think they are looking at somewhere else or perhaps daydreaming.

The three men are standing and are very formally dressed, perhaps is because of this special occasion or there are special guests that are arriving soon. There are smiles flashing onto everyone's face in this picture. I believe it is because of the events held to celebrate racial harmony day.

To conclude, such events shown in the picture should be held more often to help build and improve the bond between people of different races. Besides, people of different races can know more about other races' cultures and traditions. Most importantly, racial Harmony is an important occasion and that is why this photo is taken. This reminds me of the celebration of racial harmony day in my primary school.

Family picture

Looking at the picture, I can tell that this family is having a wonderful time together and their bonding with each other must be strong.I can deduce that since they are closely together with each other.In my opinion, i think that it is a weekend since almost adults will not be working and the childrens not schooling during weekends and they can gather on this day.By looking at this picture,i can tell that each and everyone of them are feeling exceptionally happy.Maybe each of them have their own hectic schedule and only on weekends they can relax and be together with their family.I think the picture or video that they are watching on the laptop or even must be something that all of them are interested in since by looking at their faces they seem to be happy. The woman at the most right with the spectacles must be the grandmother of the two children that we can see in the picture and beside her, also with the spectacles on must be the grandfather of the children.I can tell that they are grandparents since they look old especially the man with red t-shirt as he has white hair growing.

Still at the right of the picture,the boy which his grandmother is holding on,must be her grandson.I think her relationship between the grandson is closer than her granddaugther as we can see she is at the other side of the picture.I can tell from the look of the boy's face that he must be very happy to gather with his family and also looking at the laptop.Beside the boy,with the stripes t-shirt must be the father of the children.I think the father is not secretive as he share the video or picture that he had seen before to the other of the family members.

Beside the father,should be the mother of the children since she is standing beside her husband.I think by looking at her facial expression,she looks the most happy one since she have a widest smile on her face.Her relationship between her husband must be very close since she standing very closely beside her husband.The one at the bottom left of the picture must be the daughter.I thhink their daugther is younger than their son since she look younger.Her relationship with her mother must be close since she is more comfortable standing beside her mother.

I think family bonding is very important since family is the closest people around us. When we have any problems they are the most trusted ones and definitely help you in your problems.Even a day out with your family will be fine since this is one way that we can create a stronger bond between our family members.We must definitely appreaciate what we have.

A Severe Earthquake

• This picture depicts a scene in the streets, where there is a great collapse of infrastructures in the area.
  
• This was most probably caused by a serious earthquake that took place. I can see that the people in the picture are moving away from the area as they all had their luggage with them and are moving as a group.
  
• I can also see that the natural disaster has caused the lousy weather to happen in the area as the people moving are wearing their raincoats on. I can also tell that the natural disaster that happened in that area is quite serious as there are many buildings in the area completely destroyed and also some other buildings that are damaged, also the people are forced to leave the area.
• Those people in the picture might be living in the area. They were lucky enough to survive the earthquake, however, they are no longer able to keep on living in the area as either their houses were damaged or staying there would be too dangerous. Their might be a possibility that an other earthquake might occur in the same area, therefore leaving is the best choice for them.
• I can also see that there is a drastic difference in the magnitude of damage between the two buildings in the picture. This is most probably due to the strength of the infrastructure which caused the difference in the severity of the damage between the buildings. That might also be the reason why some of the people living the area were saved from the earthquake.
• I think that earthquake that caused the damages are affecting the people in that area greatly, in a negative way. When the earthquake occurs they have to move to temporary shelter home, the poor sanitation there might lead to more deaths because of illnesses.
  
• I feel that although there is no way to prevent a natural disaster from happening but people can do some precautionary efforts to minimize the damage caused or the number of deaths. therefore the people that are living in the natural disaster area or not should not complain about practicing precautionary acts. Only this way, more lives could be saved and damages done could be reduced.

I believe this picture is taken in a foreign country, most probably in the western area. I can infer this from the fact that the people in the photograph look like Caucasians instead of Asians. From the look of their satisfied smiles and convivial expressions, this might be a celebratory photograph. Also, three of the children in the picture seem to be holding something that seemed like an award, most probably won after a competition, which explains the ecstatic look on their faces and the photograph taken. The adults are most probably their instructors or people that contributed to the award won, hence their elated expressions.

In the foreground of the picture, three of the children holding certificate or awards are kneeling down, smiling seemingly ecstatically at the camera. The boy in the centre of the two girls seem to be more prominent, given that he is the only male who won an award, and the fact that his award seems to be sparkling and that it is not just a mere paper, unlike the ones in the girls’ hands. He also seems to be the tallest, and seem to exude vibes of extreme satisfaction, therefore the prominence.

From the look of the guy’s face, I think the guy must be really proud of himself and really exultant. The way he holds his award shows me that he is absolutely eager to show people his award. Perhaps, he had really put in a lot of effort into whatever competition that he had took part, and is of course, delighted that his effort had paid off. Therefore, his mood is most probably one of euphoria, which explains his brilliant smile to the camera. After all, regardless of any person who won a competition, he would definitely be happy and satisfied, as watching one’s efforts paying off is one of the best results one would love to have.

On the left foreground, the lady in red seems to be exceptionally elated. I assume that she, in one way or another, have contributed greatly to the award that is being held by the three children. Perhaps, she shares a relationship with the three children, such that their victory is accounted by her. That is why when the children had won the award, she is definitely ecstatic, as the victory had, in one way or another, been because of her and she shares that victory. Therefore, she is seen in the picture, with the picture-perfect smile, accompanied with the great sense of achievement that she is probably feeling then. I feel that to be in that position, where all the glory and victory is all because of oneself, would make one feel wonderful and perhaps, superior. However, one must always remember to be humble in order to succeed and scale to greater heights in life.

The others at the back of the picture are most probably people that had contributed to the end result of the competition, and they seem to be completely at ease with one another, given their interaction with each other and the smiles on their faces.

This photograph is probably taken as a form of memory, for keepsakes and for old time’s sake. People would generally want to keep such a memorable event, such a joyous event, such a wondrous event forever in their mind, therefore the picture is taken. After the picture is taken, this whole group of people will probably leave this place, and have a celebratory event, perhaps in the form of a meal, a treat by the adults, or a party. They would most probably want to celebrate their victory, let everyone let their hair down after a long term of hard work, and let them bask in the euphoria of their victory.

This picture shows the importance of unity that both adults and children share, as it fosters a relationship between them that no one can break. By uniting, by combining their strengths, by working together, everyone can achieve great things in their lives, regardless the age. For example, in this case, the adults and children had most probably worked together to produce this result - victory, which shows that anyone and everyone can achieve great things as long as the unity is there. Also, not only will unity produce results that amaze, inspire and rock the world, unity can also let strangers become best friends, enemies become friends. Therefore, regardless of anything anyone is doing, people must unite, must create the bond between them, as unity would only do them good and no harm.

Picture description

This picture is most probably taken in a foreign country, due to the unfamiliar surroundings or environment. In the background, there are some bushes, and there is are two adults standing, one of them carrying a child. He could be standing up as there is not enough seats to accommodate him and the child.

In the foreground, we can see a lot of parents, carrying a young baby in their arms. They seem to be waiting for something, and have their belongings with them. From this, i infer that the country may have experienced some natural disasters, causing the people to lose their homes. This is why they have to wait outside to either wait for a space to provide lodging for them, or seek help.

My attention is drawn to a man who is standing right in front of a sign, even though the sign is not clear enough to be seen. The man seems to be quite worried, or having a look of not knowing what to do. He is carrying a child in his arms, and another in a pram. The children seems to be having a very bored look, perhaps they have been waiting for quite awhile, and they are getting a little impatient. Also, it makes me wonder why the mother was not present at the scene, with the husband. I think that the mother could have been busy, or either that the father was divorced with two child.

To the right side, there is this Indian or Malay lady who was speaking on the phone. Her face seems to reveal sadness, dolefulness. She could be calling home to inform her family of the situation, and to report to them that they are safe and sound. Also the lady beside her, is also speaking on the phone while comforting her child. The situation could be quite grim, as the people had a stern look on their faces, and both of them were talking quite seriously on the phone, from my inferrence.

From these, we can see that all parents care a lot about their children, and never fails to stay by their side. In cases of natural disasters, or other events, parents are more frantic about the safety of their children, compared to their own safety. I suggest that the government in the country do something about the situation of having to wait in front of the place, and improve it. Also, the people could have been more organised to allow things to be done more smoothly. As a Singaporean, we should be proud of the country, and be thankful that most of us have a shelter over our heads.

Parents are the guardian angels of children.

I guess that this photo is not taken in Singapore. From the picture, I infer that the photo is taken during a family outing. They might have gone for a vacation together. I think that the family are quite close by the way they pose to take the photo. I think that they took the photo at the front of the building that they are going to spend their holiday.

The girl in green look very happy as she has a radiant smile on her face. I guess she must have been looking forward to this trip. Judging from his height and dressing, the guy standing beside the girl in green jacket should be the father. The female in pink should be the mother. She seems very happy. I guess she is enjoying the trip very much. Maybe she is so happy as she rarely have time spent with the children. From the way she holds the boy in the black shirt, I think she must have love him alot. However, the boy in the black shirt does not look as happy as the others. I guess that he is the son of the family. Maybe he did not look as happy because he was tired from all of the traveling.

I think that it is very important for families to go on a vacation together. They would be able to bond together, and thus get along better with each other. They can also take this chance to catch up with each other. Due to our busy schedule, we hardly have time to spent with each other. We could also make use of this chance to allow us to take a break from our hectic schedule.

This picture also tells us the importance of family bonds. No matter how busy we are, we should try to find time to spend with our family. It is important to do so as bonding is very important, even if it is only a simple meal together. Our relationships would strained if we do not spent time together. Families are the closest to us. They would stand by you no matter what. Friends might leave you when there are problems. Thus, we should cherish what we have when the closest kin are with us.

Picture Discussion

Basically, this picture depicts a scene of a group of teenagers in the local Mass Rapid Transit, commonly known as the MRT. The MRT is famous for its world class transport, which is rather popular among Songaporeans as an alternative to travel to town due to its high speed and smoothness throughout the whole journey.

This picture may be taken for membrance and to capture their happiness at that time.

From the picture, I believe that these eight teenagers are out for an excursion or maybe just a simple gathering where everybody gets to enjoy themselves. Looking at each and every one of them, the smiles on their faces suggsested that they were ecstatic to be out on that day with their friends. Such outings or getherings should be encouraged as the teenagers are able to socialise with one and other, and strengthen the ties among them. This could be part of their teenager-hood for rememberance purposes.

The girl grabbing the pole for support in the MRT is doing something not very sensible. As seen from the sides of the MRT, the surroundings of the train is pitch black, which is to say, the MRT is still on the move to the next station. What the girl is doing now can be deemed as pretty dangerous, because should the train come to a halt suddenly, she might be thrown out of her present position and might get hurt. Hence, in my opinion, I feel that this group of teenagers should take this picture when the train is stationary so as to ensure that their safety is not threatened. Otherwise they could request one of the passengers to help them take the picture. It would be a more rational way for them as the MRT is not an ideal place to take pictures.

Also, i have noticed that one passenger sitting opposite them, is looking at them. The other two passengers at the end seats were glancing across the MRT, wondering what are the teenagers trying to do. I guess that were making a din that attracted other passengers' attention. Although they were not in their school uniform, but they should spare a thought for the members of public, and to lower their volume to the minimum so as to create the slightest disturbance for the rest of the passengers. Moreover, as mentioned before, the train is not an ideal place for photo taking, thus teenagers should not try not to take such photos in the MRT or even other public transports.

Judging from what their casual wear, I could conclude that they might be going shopping, to the movies, the beach, or to places of interest in Sinagpore. The place where they are heading to does not matter, but as long as they enjoy the company of their friends, it would make their day.

Regardless of how hectic our daily lives are, we should try to find time to enjoy the company of our friends and to strengthen the bonds shared. The time spent would be quite worth it as it would allow us to understand our friends better in the case of the environment they are living in and more, so as to prevent more conflicts from occuring, which in turn could prolong the mutual friendship. This also applies to family too, as people nowadays are too busy to spent time with their families, resulting in many cases of divorce and broken families.

Looking at the picture, I believe the people are having a birthday party. It can be inferred from the streamers which have the words ‘Happy Birthday’ that the people are holding in their hands. There are balloons with the number sixty all over it, so I guess it is probably the sixtieth birthday. Judging by the appearance, I would say it is the sixtieth birthday of the man in a white shirt with a bald patch on his head as he looks like the oldest.

From what I can see, the six people holding the streamers seem to be singing a birthday song. This is inferred from the woman in a black shirt sitting on the chair. Both her palms are put together, as if clapping to the rhythm. In the background, there are two women wearing the same clothes and one of them is carrying a tray with cups. With that I can infer that this picture is probably taken in a restaurant. I believe this picture is not taken in Singapore, as the picture shown on one of the menus on the table does not resemble any place in Singapore.

This party is probably ending soon as there is no food on the table and most of the wineglasses are empty. Also, there are pieces of confetti strewn on the table. If it wasn’t towards the end of the party, I believe the confetti would not be thrown as it might drop onto the food and beverages.

At the right side of the background, the lights of what seemed like a mini-stage are dimmed. It probably served as a makeshift stage for the people to use. One of the two men standing there looks amused with the Caucasians, as if joining in the gaiety.

There must have been other people celebrating with them too, as there are also balloons in the left side of the background. One of the woman holding the streamers looks very happy, but I don’t think she is one of the members of the birthday boy as she does not look like a Caucasian at all. Maybe she is their close friend or children’s friend, as she looks much younger than the rest of them. She looks very excited, unlike the other five. They group of them must have been singing the birthday song very loudly, as people from other tables are also looking at them. The woman in a blue blouse holding the streamers looked lost, she seems to be looking over at the woman on her left, as though looking for an answer. From the long scarves tied on each of their heads, I think they may have been using that makeshift stage for some activity, like singing songs, to keep the other guests and most importantly, the birthday boy entertained.

Looking at the blithesome expression on the faces of the people in this picture, I feel that having others, especially our immediate family members, is a blessing. It shows that there are actually people who love and care for us enough to celebrate the happy occasions in our life together with us. Life can be short, so all the more families should spent time together and leave happy memories. I think this party will definitely remain as a part of the happy memories of the people taken in the picture.

This picture depicts a model on a catwalk. This is evident because of the special pink platform which is different from the ground. She seems to be enjoying the attention from the audience, as she wears a smile on her face. The spectators around her seem to be deeply fascinated by her, as their eyes seem to be glued on her.

One particular spectator in the background has his hand to his chin, obviously watching the model closely as she catwalks down the platform. He might be thinking that the model's dressing is very special, and has thoughts of getting one for his loved one.

The photographers at the back of the picture seem to be waiting to capture precious images of the model, ones that might be able to win themselves awards at major award ceremonies. They seem to be so concentrated on taking images, they did not notice the crowd on the side of the catwalk. As people always say, being natural is the most beautiful. The model may look natural, but the spectators in the crowd look more natural. They do not have to care about the views of others, and can just be themselves.

This picture is taken in another country. i can infer this because the people in the picture do not look like Asians but more like Caucasians and the house in the background looks nothing like the ones in Singapore. The picture is of a group of friends gathering together , i can say this from the fact that they are seated closely to each other and are they are probably good friends of each other. They could have been secondary school mates and are now quite grown up meeting up for a reunion party as there are beer bottles all around the table, and young kids are not allowed to consume alcohol.

In the foreground of the picture, there is a girl who is wearing a white sleeveless top who has a twisted look on her face. Behind her are the rest of the people sitting on a bench, 2 of them deep in conversation.

The girl in the foreground sitting all alone on the far end of the bench and is not making any conversation with the rest of the group. she is probabbly feeling quite left out because she has no one to talk to and she feels sad as she looks as if she is going to cry any moment and her eyes are slighty red.she is hoping that someone will come and start a conversation with her as it is really boring for her to be sitting alone at a gathering, not doing anything.

The two girls in the background of the picture and deep in conversation. They probably have not met for quite a while and have many stuffs to catch up on. i can infer from this that they are very good friends, which many topics in common. Also, the girl in a dark blue jacket looks very bored and maybe she is not interested in the topics that the 2 girls on her left are talking about. she is looking irritated and wants her friends to change their topics so she will be able to join in.

After the picture is taken, the group will probably go cycling as there are bicycles parked at the side of the house and cycling might be able to make them bond better instead of just sitting down chit-chatting.

This picture depicts the day whereby a group of friends come together having a good time. It is a memorable day as its not everyday you can get to meet up with friends from your old school as everyone is busy with their own things and that this picture serves as a memory for them.

Picture Discussion: Ada

From this picture, I believe that this picture was taken in one of the Western countries as it depicts of a Western child holding up a toy rifle in a room where the christmas tree is gaily decorated. I think that is Christmas and the children are unwrapping the presents that are wrapped in bright and shiny wrapping paper.
The background of this scene shows a comfortable house with a beautifully decorated christmas tree. It fully gives out a warm feeling and it makes me excited too, it displays a strong sense of festive season. I infer from the messy ground that
In the picture there is a young boy with blond hair and a small frame wearing a shirt with orange and white stripes and a dark brown holding up a toy rifle that I am sure he has just unwrapped in glee and excitement. The child looks most fascinated with the toy rifle. I believe the toy rifle is the present that he has been hoping for.
After fingering his present, I believe he will run to his parents excitedly and thank his parents for the present. From the look on the child's face, I think he will treasure the toy very much, this looks like a most memorable Christmas to him. The happiness in this memory of his childhood will last for a long time to come. Memories from childhood that are very vivid in the mind is created when one is expriencing strong emotions like intense fear thus it is important that vivid memories that we have are all of happy times because if it is of bad and horrible times, those memories will come back and haunt you.

I believe this picture was taken in Jakarta where the slums live in poverty. i can infer this from the fact that the background of this picture is a dumping ground, there are shelters build next to the dumping ground and the shelters were not well-built out of concretes. I believe that the children in this picture followed their grandmother to the ground nearby their house to play as they are flying a kite and eating chips while the youngest among the four was on a hunt for toys.

On the left hand side of the picture, it shows three older boys smiling at a much younger boy who had a distorted Barbie in his hand. In spite of the fact that the Barbie looks distorted, they were overwhelmed at the newly found toys that they could play with other than flying a kite which could not be done indoors. This shows that even though they are living in poverty, the world they revealed was a surprisingly peaceful and happy one.

On the left side of the picture shows several cattle finding food in the dumping ground. I believe that the people in the picture owns those cattle and the fact that they brought the cattle to a dumping ground instead of fields shows how poor their living conditions are. The cattle are skinny due to the lack of nutrients as they are no green grasses for them to feed on. The cattle are reared for food, but due the fact that it does not have enough food, it will take a longer time for them to grow and then to be slaughtered or they could slaughter it before it become fatter but it would mean lesser food obtain. This shows that the living standard there is not good and starvation and famine can occur anytime in the year due to shortage of food.

The background of this picture shows shelters of the slums. They were built of wooden boards attached together in a form of house beside the dumping ground. According to my contextual knowledge, they built their shelters there as they could not afford to pay for the rent of the house which is usually high, thus only the rich get to live in houses built out of concretes while the poor built their shelters at unoccupied places. The environment is bad due to the fact that it is located near or even on the dumping ground. The daily necessities such as water there were polluted, therefore is not suitable for consumption as it might spread diseases. Even though the dumping ground gives out odor and is not suitable to live on, the slums still lives there as they are too poor to afford a proper place to life in.

This picture shows us that Singaporeans are very fortunate to be able to go to school and have a good environment to live in and we should not take it for granted. We should help those who are less fortunate as they are also human and they also deserve to have what we have too. The government of that country should start taking action to improve the living standards there instead of neglecting it as it would not solve any problems.

PICTURE DISCUSSION



I believe that this picture is taken in a church where a wedding ceremony is held over there. It can be seen by the cross at the side of the building and by the high-coloured windows at the side. I can easily see that this is a day of s couple's marriage as in the foreground, the lady is wearing a white wedding gown while the man in a neat suit. The groom is shaking hands with another man in red which might most probably be the priest that witness the whole wedding and allow the whole wedding to be successful. This picture might have be taken after the vowing ceremony and the exchanging of the rings as the bride's veil is being taken off.

The couple look overjoyed over this whole ceremony as it can be seen by the smiles of the couple's face. They are smiling from the bottom of their hearts and they must have been elated to be able to let this day be perfect for both of them. The bride and groom must have been feeling grateful to all the friends and relatives that came to their wedding ceremony and to witness the birth of a new marriage. At the same time, i believe they must be thrilled to finally get together and to form a new family of their own and to give each other the happiness they needed from the care and love they give to each other.

At the background of the picture, they is a lady looking at the couple which seems upset but at he same time, looked elated for the couple. The lady might be the bride's sister who is happy for her own sister to be able to find the man she is staying with in the future. However, she might be feeling a bit upset as her sister is getting married and leaving the home that they lived together for the past years.
She might be feeling lonely to see her sister forming a new family with the groom and thus, looking at the couple with a bit of happy but upset face.

I think after this picture is taken, the bride and groom might be going out of the church as it marks the end of their whole wedding ceremony. They might be going out of the church and staying outside to take photos with the guests that came to witness the ceremony. After everything is being done nicely, the newly-wed should be heading to their new home where both of them are going to spend their lives in. Otherwise, there might be another dinner at a hotel at night and both of them are heading straight to the hotel to prepare for the dinner at night.

This picture depicts the most important day for the couple as this is the start of their marriage. It is a memorable day for both the bride and groom and thus, this picture is allowing others to be able to receive much of their happiness as shown in the picture. Thus, this picture allows us to learn that memories being shared together is wonderful and we must cherish them well.

I believe this picture is not taken in Singapore but overseas. I can infer from the firecrackers both of the men are holding on. Firecrackers are permitted in Singapore and are not sold in any stores island wide in Singapore. Hence, this pictures must be taken overseas and in a Chinese country. This picture is probably taken during Chinese New Year and in china. From what I know, Chinese usually light fire crackers during auspicious occasions. The people can be seen wearing long sleeve shirts and long pants. I think the weather must be cold in that particular country and may be experiencing winter at that point in time. As mentioned earlier, the picture is taken during winter and the people are said to be celebrating Chinese New Year. Similarly in China, Chinese New Year happen to fall in the season winter hence, there is a high chance that this picture is taken in China.

From what i can see in the background, the building is build in a very tradition way. A lantern can be seen hanging out of the building. The tiles on the outside of the house are arranged in a very tradition way which is very similar to those houses you would see in the village side of China. I reckoned the building belongs to the 2 men lighting the fire crackers. Then, i concluded that the men on the left might be the father of the men on the right. The family should be living in the village as vegetation can be seen at the background. In the urban area of China, high rise building should be seen and spaces between each house would not be very big. Hence, with the evidence mentioned earlier on, I think that this picture is taken in the countryside of China. Smoke can be seen in the air therefore i can conclude that the firecracker on the right had been lighted. Pieces of red paper can be seen on the ground which belongs to the firecrackers.

The small child at the left side of the picture seems to be running away. I think that is because of the loud piercing sound of the firecrackers. From my experience, loud sound would be heard once the firecracker is lighted up. During Chinese New Year, my family went down to Chinatown to witness the lighting of firecrackers. Though we were standing quite far away, we could still clearly hear the noise produced. I can understand why the child is running away. Small children are usually afraid of loud noise. This is why no children can be seen in the picture except for one. I think that the rest had probably went to hide at a far away place in order to minimize the amount of noise they can hear. I concluded that the boy seen in the picture is brave as he did not run away before the firecracker is lighted.

Though lighting firecrackers may be dangerous, but it does enhance the atmosphere of Chinese New Year. In Singapore, only if we go to Chinatown, then we would be able to feel the happiness of New Year. In other country, wherever you go, you would be able to sense the happiness and excitement in the air. The difference in atmosphere may be partly due to firecrackers and people nowadays are busier with their work. This in turn reduce the time adults have for resting, in that case, adults would not spend effort in decorating their houses. I believe that decorating the house will definitely add on to the atmosphere of Chinese New year. Therefore, no matter how busy my family members are, we would always spend time and decorate the house with auspicious red stuffs such as “happy new year”, “prosperity” and so on. I hope more family will do that as Chinese New Year is a festival that belongs to Chinese and we should spend it with joy and laughter.

In my view, I think that after this picture is taken, cheers would be heard and children will start running back happily. Then, they will all gather around the dining table and feast happily. During Chinese New Year, adults will buy all the delicious food for the whole family to consume.

No matter how busy our lives are, we should always spend Chinese New Year with our family. This is a tradition that had been past down and i believe that this should continue. Family is the most important people in our lives and they are the only one that would treat us truthfully. Parents want the best for the children hence we as children should put themselves in their shoes and try to accommodate them.

Tentatively, this picture depicts a scene where there are two working people conferring about a certain issue on the monitor screen.

On the whole, I am certainly convinced that they are either in an office or in a room. This can be clearly vindicated, as the room they are in seems to be conducive and tidy. In the background of the picture, I see that the room also has angelic curtains and potted plants. Adding on, the fact that there is also has an exquisite picture behind them, further reinforces my inference.

If I trust my instinct, before this scene is likely to be when both characters are actually working by themselves, without the help from each other. Also, before this scene is likely to be lunchtime, when they actually intended to meet up with each other to review about working issues, which is now, exhibiting in the picture.

Explicitly, I descry a properly dressed male standing up, looking at the screen attentively. While on the other hand, I do also notice a female, who is pointing on the computer screen, and explaining specifically about a certain issue to the male beside her. Possibly, I reckon that the relationship between the both characters can either be a boss and a subordinate relationship or a colleague and colleague relationship. This can be easily supported, when I see the manner in which both characters interact with each other.

Firstly, under my discussion with the man. Briefly, he is wearing a dark shirt and pants. He is being accompanied with a strong sense of style and vigour. This can be proved from the way he cast. From how the picture portrays itself, the man is gazing at the computer screen seriously, while listening attentively to his partner. If I am not mistaken, he may be feeling quite bored or tired, from the facial expression he gives. I may refer him as conscientious worker. The fact that he takes the time to ask questions to his partner, perhaps on computer and technology issues. This easily means that he is aiming at improving himself. Adding on, he may also be discussing about work issues, and for this factor, he may be referred as a companionable and cooperative person.

Allow me to move on with the woman beside the man. Tentatively, I can see that her hair is tied neatly with a ponytail. Adding on, she is wearing a blue coat over a yellow outfit. A necklace is also hung over her neck. From her dressing style, she seems to possess a strong sense of femininity. I can see that she is either teaching or guiding the man beside her, perhaps on work issues. If I am not mistaken, she must be a leader or a manager of the group or company. This can be supported from her facial expression. Firstly, I can see that she is very blithe and satisfied to be asked with questions from her companions. Secondly, the fact that she possesses a sense of leadership and professionalism, further supports my inference. I do believe that she can be a favorable companion or an efficient leader. This is supported from the fashion she renders her work. Her table is not untidy, and she treats the people around her in a very hospitable and warm manner. The crux of my entire inference, is essentially from her smile, revealed on her facial expression.

Likely, after this scene, both characters will be back to their work. This may also be a scene where both characters clear their doubts. So after this scene can be a meeting or a presentation of their own conception to a large group of people.

I believe that there are a few main themes in this picture.

Firstly, this picture can be taken for business issues. Possibly, the company is promoting on their job recruitment. In this picture, it shows two characters working together harmoniously. Therefore, this picture is basically taken to briefly portray the course of working in the company itself. That being said, this picture can also be taken for advertising the company’s name. In today’s society, we see that reputation and acceptance, plays very much importance to business. This picture is essentially useful for building up contacts between business partners, as it shows the professionalism between the workers themselves.

Secondly, this picture can also be taken for acknowledgement purposes. We see that at the end of the year, most companies will actually post pictures to acknowledge the efforts of their workers. Subsequently, this picture can be taken to reflect the working process of the workers. In this way, it creates a platform for workers to strive harder while working.

Fundamentally, we see that the gist of the picture is to show us what exactly is the true spirit of teamwork. The picture portrays a sense of teamwork between the two characters. Teamwork, as defined by the dictionary, is cooperative or coordinated effort on the part of a group of persons acting together as a team or in the interests of a common cause. We see that teamwork is not only significant in school, but after we advance to the society itself, teamwork plays an essential role for one to be promoted to a higher rank or to get an increment in pay. Quintessentially, we see how weighty teamwork is.

However, I believe that the true teamwork is really absent in our society today. We see that innumerable conflicts and discrimination constantly bound our society. While we see that we can really choose who we want to work with when we are in tertiary education, we cannot achieve the same when we come to the society, and ultimately, we will still face problems working with others. I like to clarify that this picture does not give us a solution to work more appropriately in group works, but rather more objectively, is to explicate to us an exemplary example on how to work more cooperatively between one another. In this way, we also learn how to accept one another's opinion, therefore, making a much more fruitful decision, as a team.

Indeed, teamwork plays an essential role in most projects. I also believe that with teamwork, we can really achieve anything. As the saying goes, to win as a team, and to loose as a team. We must uphold teamwork in our society. Unfortunately, we do not see it.
